- Synopsis
- Mera, who is recovering from injuries, is attacked by the Eel in Amnesty Bay. Mera asks the Justice League and the United States government to not interfere in the conflict in Atlantis, where Aquaman is working with the rebellion to overthrow Corum Rath so that Mera can be installed as queen. Meanwhile, Ocean Master has found an unlikely new life with his new family on the surface.

Ocean Master was last seen in Aquaman (DC, 2011 series) #23.2, where he was shown going to the aid of Erin and Tommy, and in issue #25 where he was shown to be staying with them.
